MY EXCITEMENT WITH THE WONDERFUL GEL MOMENT!!
I hadn't heard about Gel Moment before being introduced by a follower!
All sounded a little too good to be true, five free, one coat, long lasting no top/base coat Gel system! Here's how I got on!
I was sent the colour "Scarlet Slippers" a deep red with a gorgeous shimmer, that shone brighter under artificial light, by day a nice deep red with a wee shimmer, by night sparkly rubies !
I also received this cute two fingered lamp to cure the Gel! Very handy, handbag size if you have a big bag like me, you can use it with a USB or the plug included! You can of course use your own LED lamp, but will have to work out the curing time yourself, as Gel Moment of course have their curing time to work with their lamps, some are stronger some not as! Gel Moment reccomend to use their lamp, as do all gel companies! I of course have my Handirest and Tweexy ready for application, my two must haves with DIY manicures!

With it being such a dark colour I was extremely skeptical that it would only need one coat, I was advised to use two thin coats if needed, this wasn't! Check these beauties out:-
I added a few wee decals on my accent nails these didn't last long, due to having no top coat, I did predict this! So one coat, under the lamp for the timed 45 seconds the lamp stays on for, I did both hands within ten minutes, one coat as they said, after a small buff and cleanse to adhere better, it glided on like silk, so easy to have a fresh finish as it is self leveling also! Take a garney at the difference between the colour under different lights!

I loved the way it looked different during the day, was like having two manicures! So how well did this one coat magic last with work and day to day jobs around the house & did it last!?
The answer is Hell YES!!
For eight long days my nails were chip free, kept their colour and shine!
On day Nine however Mr Muscle (a well known manicure killer) put an end to my run, but only with a few tiny chips, I could have easily filed down a bit and re coated, but fancied something new!
Here you can see the teeny tiny chips!
Not even that noticeable really but any excuse for a new manicure/colour ;)
I can do nothing but praise this one coat lil bottle of magic!
Another excellent Gel that I highly recommend if you are looking for long lasting, hard wearing easy to apply gel!

This lovely product is even safe for children, supervised of course, imagine the carnage!!
Its cheaper than going to a salon, no extra costs for cleansers and top/base coats, yet still you get dazzling salon worthy nails IMO! If me, Miss shaky Stevens can apply, anyone can!
