Nail for Real girls
extreme test
Hi All,
Back again with yet another extreme test, I thought what a bargain £3 for the colour and £3 for the top coat,no lamp needed!!
I dont know where to begin, the beginning is usually the best place!
Application went really well,
I was delightfully impressed, heres a pic of when I had just finished!
I thought they looked great, just needed a little tidying up once fully cured! It took a fair while as I had to wait for the three coats to dry all in and the drying time felt like forever, one of those times you wish you had made a coffee, a drink for the whole house, prepped tea and hung the washing up before you begin...never the case eh? No matter how prepared we are, there is always something! This pic above was took at 8pm I was so careful not to touch anything during curing time, I used a cold hair dryer and ice water!! But still felt tacky! I go to bed usually 11ish but a bit later being holidays!
After tenderly doing all I had to, I fell asleep in the 'Vampire position' In hope that by the time I rolled they had cured I was wrong!!
Very Wrong!
I woke with lines bubbles, hairs, creases I was in shock to be honest. So I thought maybe....
I did something wrong maybe I put it on too thick!! Maybe I didn't leave them to dry properly before adding the top coat, but when I say it took hours it took hours!! felt like forever, especially as I had so much to do!!! As we all do, but do we moan?? Hell yes!! Where's the fun in keeping shtum?
so I tidied them best I could, buffed them down added another coat and top coat...time I didn't have!! I will be trying out the darker in a "normal" test, just incase it was human error, as I have said, I am no Professional nail painter or artist, I have no training whatsoever, just practice and not much of that, from doing my own! So the dark will be my first "is it for real women" test!!
Then started my day 2
This is after I tidied up but there was only so much I could do!
And I got on with my day, slower than usual and a lot of back tracking due to half term, but I love it! I love kids, I love their innocence, something I never had, I love the way they instantly trust or dislike in a split second, like a sixth sense! I have half the streets kids in my place on holidays & weekends, I feed, water and play with them whilst their parents sleep their days away just to keep us up at night, when they do crawl out their pits! I cut their hair, for free,naturally, I'm too scared to go ask for payment, I've heard the way they speak to their own blood, so I steer clear, I de-lice them, as they play with my son, this has only happened twice, two times too many! They are happy kids, its what and all they know but I do understand why they come here, its like a toy shop! Me and the other half worked with Lego and old toys when our son was born, so we could get him all these stupidly expensive sets for pennies, through profit of selling others, we also decaled figures, still do but not as active just old customers by order! A whole new story, want to hear about it, let me know!! They have fun, food and lots of laughs, we are a child once and once only, as much as we want to be an adult at that tender age....we seriously didn't have a clue hey?
So Day Two after an extreme tidy up, I cut four heads of hair,
took the kids to the park with the dog, pushing swings, swinging, sliding, take down tig! You name it we played it!! We climbed trees, had a pine cone grenade fight!!
I had fun any way!
"You're nails always look nice, why do they look like Blue Tac" Said one of girls the had with me!!
Children say it how it is in their heads, they don't process thoughts, that's what i love so very much with kids....no BS!!!
Day two P.M
Look great from a distance eh?
I did my usual day to day cleaning,washing, Gardening etc on top of the rest but except for the finish still producing more bubbles
it was lasting, no chips etc, and as before I had rang them through the ringer, no gloves, bare hand gardening, tree climbing scrubbing dishes, floors, sides, dusting etc etc! Not something we do if we want to keep our nails nice, but this isn't what i'm hear to do, to keep my nails nice, this is to prove that some companies, no matter what they are put through are made for the real women in us all, the working mums, the stay at home mums, at times we don't have time to find the marigolds when a mess is made or worry about chips when making beds etc or the dog has a accident, the list is endless! We want to live an easy as possible life with our hectic schedules without worrying about our bloomin nails!
Chips Bubbles, scraps scratches, what more could a girl want!? That's it a broken nail, didnt see that one coming!! ;)
But still from a distance with really bad eye sight these you still could get away with, so if you're visiting a smelly blind relative that you can't get too close too or tell everyone you have the flu so they don't come too close, this is the polish for you!
Anyone for the Jessie J Chip tip pastel look???? Does that look too thick??
But from a distance, as I said these could continue, but me and my pride refused to keep all at arms length any longer, this girl needs hugs!!! As do we all! As I have said I will try this again when I find time, maybe use the darker colour as a primary this time! We will see but for now, sorry Rimmel, I did ask for your help twice with no answer, I tweeted pics and asked where I had gone wrong, It seems for now £6 bargain for gel nails (at three pound a bottle including top coat) Is NOT for real girls, you have not passed my extreme test if anything you have failed massively!

Day 3 AM
The bubbles are returning, badly! I wont be tidying up as that's unfair on other extreme tests! I will how ever give it another go further down the line see if it was human error..as I said earlier, as in my lack of knowledge or if it is just complete pants!!! I mean take a good look at my thumb below it looks like little maggots are trying to crawl out...not the look any of us are going for!!

From there it just got worse
I had a 'lazy day' in other words I did all the cleaning washing dog walking as fast as i could prepped tea and hit the Xbox with my son! Somehow during this my nail broke....did you here my scream!! Like a wookie with a splinter that has just trod on another!!

Easy to remove it says on the no 2 bottle, I beg to differ three hours later!!!
