SENATIONAIL POLISH TO GEL V'S
EXTREME TEST!

Back again with another extreme test, this time with Polish to Gel!
I was skeptical at first, that it was just a large bottle of base/top coat basically over priced! It works very similar from what I can see, but unless you buy the starter kit it all works out the samish price even if it was, I don't think it is now but I believe it works in the same way, Id like to give it a shot with the polish then the top coat just to see if it did work the same, just out of curiosity, I think I will, why the devil not!!
I used a different make and colour for each nail
From left to right we have-
Rimmel 060 Hot & Spicy
Barry M 307 Lemon
Marks & Spenser's 19110 Jade
Collection 2000 35 Dynasty
Claire's 45198 Baby Blue
Some of these, well all of them are from my personal collection but some are a fair few years old, so old they may not be available anymore, I have a stupid amount of polishes etc so it was difficult choosing the ones I wanted to use, I love them all...the colours I mean....some like shoes, some clothes, others make-up! Mine is nail stuff, you name it I most probably have it or something similar!
It may be a big collection, it didn't cost as much as you'd think, I am one for a bargain too, reduced items and pound-land....sometimes I get silly prices on E-bay, 6p I paid for my last pot of liquid lacquer goo me! I also have a 'thing' about Lego, buts thats a whole new story :)
Ok so I painted my nails like so

I loved them!
On my broken nail, right index finger(I was so gutted about that, too gutted I think!) I used the teabag method to fix it, then I buffed in down and then I used one of these
A SENSATIONAIL Nail shield, I got mine in my starter kit, with the lamp etc
I had never used them before and I'm not too good with thin sticky things and being able to apply them, all my mobiles etc have creases and bubbles under their protective shields, these were really easy to use and as you can see worked really well, due to a tiny bump where the break was, I added decals to the yellow, which I thought looked nice and hid my ickle bump! Two birds and all that Jazz!!
The nail is dead now, along with many others RIP my friends, you lived a good life and died for a great cause, you will-not be forgot ;)
In the instructions there's two ways to use Sensationail polish to gel, mix equal amounts or use as a top coat, I did the latter. I contacted Sensationail before to ask about primer, cleanser and a base coat, as it didn't mention any of that bar the cleanser in the instructions, they suggested I did use primer and a base coat BUT me being me thought, No, I'll do it like it says here, two coats of polish wait till fully dry, apply polish to gel, under lamp then a wipe with cleanser with a lint free wipe, naturally!!
It was late, so I tidied, did Mummy things..as we do and popped off to bed with my new rainbow Gel nails! I was one very happy bunny
As I rose in the morning and stretched my arms out, my first sight was a lovely rainbow, made me smile which usually doesn't happen until at least two/three cups of Coffee! Not an addict, noooo, just cant live without the stuff, well I could but I wouldn't function in anyway useful!!
They were still perfect, They had lasted what ever it is I do in my sleep that caused all the damage on my last test, I mean the state they were in when I woke I think I go mountain climbing in my sleep! So they got through all my mummy night time stuff, I need not explain eh?! and my tornado sleep pattern!
The day 2 begins it was so easy to pick an outfit, I mean I had the choice of any colour, I maybe took the rainbow thing a bit far as you will see later on but it was all good fun !!, Im not a hairdresser far from it, I just have a whole family of hairdresser's phobics, including myself,I have a reason, I have stress related alopecia, they are just wimps, over the years I've self taught, with blogs and walk throughs so I am quite comfortable with clippers and scissors these days, lucky for them !
So Day 2 had all the norm, work, housework then cutting hair
Rainbows everywhere!
Anyone that owns a dog will know what I am doing in the last pic, my dog never stops malting, on full malt with have tumble weeds of hair floating about!!
I also did the usual garden stuff, water and weed what i see, kill anything in site that eats my fruits!
It was half term so everything I did do was taking twice as long, again no need to explain there :/
We played, first we played Aliens with the Nerfs
Yes!?!I camped, I get given the slow gun, the one with the nice soft, rubber end darts, Im being attacked by plastic discs moving at quite a speed like 20 at a time, those are long distance, there is nothing long distance about my home! it felt like it must have, being stoned back in the day, cocking and loading those guns is no task that should be seen as in any way, easy, especially whilst being bombarded by the clip stashers in the corners, you need strength to use these things! Luckily I am naturally strong ;) I wish, I dont look very professional or natural with a nerf gun, all left hands as 'they' have always said! Then it was my turn to be the monster!
A CREEPER!!
Thats a baddy that blows all your work up or/and you, if you get close enough in MineCraft!
Its hard to see in those things and kids are fast and little I was blinkered, I didnt loose, It was unfair play.
Nah, I was a rubbish monster caught staight away, there was me thinking it was me that should have been doing the catching!
Even after all I had done and some more after, here they are...
They still looked the same......great, sensationail were doing it again, I hadn't worn gloves to do anything and I bleach my bathrooms daily, when possible, that's just one thing!
So onto day 3
After another freaky night of doing what it is I do, I must get a camera up! They were still as they were the POLISH TO GEL by SENSATIONAIL was doing all it said and under extreme circumstances!
You have to remember my skin was going through this too! Poor hands and nails!
Now bare with me I did a fair bit today!

BANG TEST
The weekly bang clean I have to do due the water being 'hard' apparently WTF does that mean? How can water be hard?? The company is, with their prices! So because its 'hard' it stains everything in limescale, I have to have a see through kettle, it takes days for it to get bad in there....hard water pfffttt make it soft then, amount of chemicals that do go in, why not one more...please?!
I was having a rainbow day again every colour I had on my nails I wore, I even found a pair of yellow trainer socks and a old pair of trainers with green on! I was a walking Skittle....Taste the Rainbow!! I think it may have sent me loopy maybe a colour over load Im not sure but as well as our 'everyday' housework i was like Billy the Whizz...back and forth up and down this and that.... went on a massive bug and weed hunt!! Bare handed naturally!
My arch nemesis, green fly, lava and slugs!! I am the BUG SLAYER in my garden, I will be organic...ish not sure killing so much is organic, but I dont use chemicals, hell no! May as well buy from the shop!
My Rose is still blooming just like my Polish to Gel nails!
What with it being half term, as I said, I was in and out the house like a yo yo! So there was A LOT of this going on!!
As we can all imagine after squishing and digging for weeds I cant prepare food or even touch anything until my hands and nails are clean, but still Sensational Polish to Gel was holding fast, still looking great!
So why not a daily trip out to the park with the kids and the dog!!! Alot of throwing this going on, naww look at her excited face...
Why not a little bit of this, much to his squeals to stop and not to dare take a picture...who could resist eh? Not so funny when he was sick before bed,,,,again another story, not the first wont be the last clean up at bed time!!
Then I may have got a bit excited and behaved slightly reckless instead of supervising, oh the shame! No, no shame just screams of NOOOOOOO as my broken but fixed nail ripped again taking the gel with it! It was expected, we were all ready for it, somehow its harder when you know its coming, but I was a big girl, took a big breath and carried on, its only a nail, its only a nail.......ITS ONLY A NAIL!! Its only a nail!
My poor poor nail, a tiny bit off mud had got under a decal too, so I was far from impressed but not deterred!!
From a distance and a top coat it looked ok, I put one coat on and went to sleep praying I would be calm and still and not rip it off in the night!
At that stage I wasnt sure what I was going to do, I did know I was tired and number one priority right then was sleep not my nail!!
Told you it was a long day and bare with me! The rainbow was slowly leaving me, the whole house breathed a sigh of relief!
Day 4
My nail survived its night of terror,
all I used was the above from poundland, I put two more coats on in the morning to see what would happen and got on with my daily's!
They still looked great, I had a party that evening, my mums Birthday, I dont get out much and wasnt sure if I should re-do my nails but seeing after all they had been through and still looking as good as I did, how could I not bring them along, they deserved the rest and drink as much as me! I got on with a few more jobs before leaving to help with getting ready.
Sorry after the bacon Sarnie.....Llydls finest, pack of bacon and a tiger loaf for less that £2 how can you not when we have one down the road...hmmmm!
Anyway off I went
I didnt have time to take pics after this, this was one of my many trips to the supermarket because between us all and we still forget so blooming much, Id say its age, noo always been like this!!
Anyone that has had a party and made the food etc knows the hard work that goes in, those that havnt, its alot and it takes alot longer with rugrats, lets do some colouring I said...
Yeah it wouldnt come off, what kinda pens do you think grandparents own...not child friendly, should have seen the kids! thank me they were outside, silver lining in everything.... see, they are everywhere!
Now I dont get out much and I dont drink much! So tonight was going to be hell of a challenge, I must say my nails were commented on alot, asked what I had used to make them so shiny and nobody believed what they had been through!!
Your very lucky to get these pics and if it wasnt for the 15 min walk home you wouldnt of had evening pics!
Like I said Im not a drinker, thats not just wkd it has vodka in it so i can say i only had three drinks ;) clever huh!! Not really if you couldnt even handle the three without the voddy, i was well gone lets say!! Good night though had by all, from what my one eye could see!
See they still look good, one wee chip in the purple thumb, but come on look at what the ten day guarentee wear had been through?! like 40 days worth of wear so far!
Day 5
Usual housework, a little slower and alot more dishes but i got what needed doing! Sundays huh.....day of rest, for whom??
No morning pic as the above was morning if you think about it, dont ask me what time, i didnt check!!
A LOT of dishes, then I planted my late baby toms out, I have adults in flower these are late summers if the slugs dont get them,digging soil with my hands, look at my nails after i finished, should have done the dishes second, in hindsight!!
Still a few chips but noting worth screaming about even if I did get the iron stuck on my pinky, then after one went it was down hill from there! I hit my lads room after a week of half term.....
my poor nails just couldnt handle it, even Sensationail polish to gel couldnt cope with the wana be teenager bedroom!!!
Yet from a distance or with a small tidy up you could wear these longer even after what I put them through! And look how easy Polish to Gel by sensationail comes off!!
So to say the least Sensationail past the test again with flying colours!
well done Polish to Gel
they cant be the only firm getting it right for us real women, theres billions of us yano nail polish people!!!
Well done Sensationail, I again, take my hat off to you, I tried to chip these doing all you really shouldnt! Yet still you lasted six days!

The Senationail polish to gel may have beat two extreme tests but my nails haven't...I have more bits of tea bags stuck to me than in the tea caddie!!! I will lyk how they fix and what I have used, if it does as it says on the tin ;)
