BE-CAREFUL WHO YOU FOLLOW/FRIEND/ACCEPT!!

Always have access to your child's social media, if they 'must' have it!
I use the same You Tube account as my son, so I can restrict and monitor what he is watching and up to! I have the " I want my privacy" to come.....not looking forward to that one!

A FEW THING NOT EVEN I, AS A  10 YEAR PERSONAL USER KNEW!

I mean why would/should we know, I personally use Twitter and Facebook, to keep in touch with friends ,the news, gossip etc,  I follow who I want to on Twitter, I don't like that just anyone can follow you, so I don't say much on my personal account, I leave that for Facebook, I choose my audience out of my 50 odd friends! I like to find interesting articles, reviews to read and comment 'a lot' when I have a opinion I feel I need to get out.  The letter limit on Twitter doesn't allow my sarcasm to get out without sounding rude. Don't get me wrong we all have a little more oomph behind a screen but we are who we are, we are here to socialize, debate and have fun, Right? ?

Learn new things, meet new people, isn't that what networking is about? Getting you or your product out there?

There are thousands of regular/genuine and thousands of businesses, using it how it should.

Then there's the DARK side,

The evil underbellies

Pedophiles

Prostitutes

Cam Girls

Porn

Trolls

Fakes

That is just what I saw...I'm sure there will be more, lots more!

Recently, as a lot of you know I have started the twitter account @nailsforrealgirls.  

Now it's been a long time since I opened my last account, which I did nearly a decade ago, at the beginning they ask your name etc. then your interests, to which I chose fun, beauty, health, nails etc as far as I can remember those were some of the choices, there are quite a few, I clicked all I was interested in, I have lots of hobbies, just don't do them all at once. Little did I know though, that they followed EVERYONE with the same interests.  Now at no stage did I click porn. ..nor cam girls. oh I knew they were on Twitter but not as bad as I thought,  I also didn't choose kids at school, nor did I choose pedophiles/pedophile supporters! ! The people I followed, 2000 in all were shocking!

I looked into it a little and there is a MASSIVE problem here.  Is twitter/Facebook now the newest brothel on the net? So many cam girls and girls/boys offering to meet for sex etc! ! Is it a free porn site? 

Is it a Pedophile swap shop?? Swapping sick stories and fantasies for all to see! 

Giving each other tips on how to make a child hide its history, open new accounts so their parents don't know....its all there and worse!

Or what about all the fake pics, took from the net, that pretty lil girl/boy who openly puts in their Bio their age, to pull in other young users IMO. Young children looking to be excepted..somewhere anywhere and everywhere! As all children do, they all thrive off attention, we are busy and cant always be there especially as they get older they want their privacy!  Teenage years are horrible we all remember them, unless you had perfect....everything and was with the "cool kids" school was pants, feeling of never fitting in, always picked last, didn't look or act like anyone else....now, now, I love that I am different, not set in a mold, or like the "cool kids" I see them still, bit different now! I love me and who I am inside and out...not perfect in anyway, I'm just me....cant be anyone else, no matter how hard we try we will always be us, shame our attitude isn't like that as a teenager...hormones huh?

Now we have all met a troll,  trolls can be infuriating, my motto, I don't listened to the piss stained alcoholic asleep on the bench so why would I listen or let a trolls opinions get to me? I wouldn't and never do, I engage don't get me wrong, they all think they are so clever and witty, when in reality they are far from humorous, bullies, I like to point out where they trip themselves up...give some one a rope ;) I was stalked for near on a year due to a difference of opinion, this stalker had over 300 diff accounts, most were unused but they are still out there, something so simple turned into something that took over my life...yet another story ;) I thought dead accounts were removed!? Seems not!

Laugh & block. They hate it! My block list is never ending! !

There's always the chance you will be attacked by a swarm of trolls that don't agree with something you have said, most work in tag teams, hunt like wolves

So basically we could be talking to ANYONE.  This is nothing new to us, lots hide at home online as much as possible enjoying making arguments, pretending to be all they are not, even on Facebook as ourselves I think its not all true life, its what you want others to see of your life, unless you put a status up about every argument etc.....I knew a couple like that shame they split, great entertainment!!  I didn't know that it was any where near as bad as it is. The young children, their flirty pics, their bios state their age, why? some as young as 11!!

Why is an 11 year old girl bored enough to be on Twitter or any other social network?!

Could be any old chimp at the other end if that screen, this has happened since the internet, it can't be policed, obviously isn't or it would have been done by now, unless, Social Media makes you prove your age/identity or our children could say they enjoy 'fun' 'excitement' and end up following the same and likes of that I have, every one and anyone.

If we have nothing to hide what would be the problem with proving our identity and age, if sites like I came across HAVE to exist, then at least make it over 18 at the very least!

Some say in the profile pic and Bio XXX Or over 18's only, no where near enough, again still that attracts kids, so is it a deterrent or a advertisement?

I was just un-following , as I noticed I was up to 2000 and I had only followed a couple of hundred if that, there was no need to click on accounts, You can clearly see all you need from profile pics, bios and banners but I think a child would click, out of pure curiosity! Why isn't it over 18 only, on that sort of account?  If that's what they are,  an advertisement and free porn! ! Also I didn't realize anyone would want to be seen as pedophile sympathizers or proud to be one, anon or not but one name caught my eye so I took a look at his followers etc the name being untreatedpaedophile

or something similar to that and believe me when I say that's the tamest! Most of these accounts are locked which makes it even worse, what they were saying in public was bad enough.  Why are they allowing this? ? Is this what they want their reputation to be? Come get your cam girl or join a pedophile ring or just come and watch your free porn!! 

Some of the conversations they have are unrepeatable and vile, the pictures, no words. ...why is this being aloud?

Am I being a prude?  Am I gagging freedom of speech or over exaggerating?  

And please let's not get started on "dead accounts" The eggs and the likes of,  I understand it happens, we lock our selves out change password but most social medias T & C's states if the account isn't used in 6 months they will close it! 

I think having NO followers/tweets/ follow anyone or that they haven't tweeted since 2011. If I, as a slow online learner to all this, can see an account is dead or being used as "buy 5000 eggs for loads of walla!" Who would do that? have thousands of accounts that never interact of have any interest in what you do! I just don't get it!

So come on Twitter, come on Facebook, is this what you want to be known as?  I'm sure that's not the case.

I mean, I'm not usually a moaner but this well and truly stunned me and made my blood boil!

SORT IT OUT 

Make your site how you wanted it. Not how it's being used. 

Twitter is where I saw it all but I know its just as bad on any platform!

EXTREME TESTING FROM EXTREME GIRLS!

Ok, just to get a few things straight, I did not test Sensationail to see if what they said was true, that it lasts up to two weeks or more, we all know this is possible, even today on Day 9 I could sort these out in seconds, I have two chips, after all they have been through!! I know these will go on a lot longer! I am here to prove that every body, no matter who you are or what we do, we CAN all have nice nails. Nice nails makes such a difference to our self esteem and confidence, but we feel we have no time to wait for it to dry, we want nail art too...where can a busy working mum find time to let one coat of polish dry let alone more than one or several, then theres the instant chips as soon as you cook or do the dishes or make the bed, or any other daily task we all have in life, not including what we do at work! But don't be deterred my hard working friends, we can all have a nice mani and I am here to prove it!
I treated myself to a starter kit, had a few issues and customer service was so good, so proud and sure of their product, they impressed me, I had never heard of nail Gel before this! I mean I haven't been to the hair dressers in over 30 years, we just dont have time, do we? I wanted to join that passion and show all us normal bods, living normal lives that its possible for a nice shiny mani that lasts and is fast!! Even if you treat them as I have below!
We all need me time, I promise if you find a spare 20mins to do your nails you will feel better about yourself, I do, I used to be so jealous of the lovely nails people went and paid for every week...think how much we save co,pared to theirs and at a fraction of the cost! Do they know we haven't been to the Salon..uhh nup, do they think you are a professional, no, but if mwa, me can do it, anybody can, I am not the girliest of girls, but I love my nails, even more so now I know I can pretty them up fast and to last!

Day 9

As you can see, a quick top up and these bad boys will be good to go for a lot longer than the 2 weeks advertised, especially if we do all we ‘should’ whilst wearing it! By that I mean, look after them, not do all you can to put them through hell as I have! We can all paint our nails or go down the salon but I’m a real woman, a busy woman, I don’t confess to be a professional nail artist, but I do expect what is advertised on the label! As we all do. I work hard at home at work and I am extremely hands on, so let’s say I’ve tested these to the extreme...extreme polish testing!! I’ve gardened, (no gloves) using my hands and not a shovel to replant, all dishes, more washing & cleaning etc, then the royal families staff, no gloves either! I had a Nerf war with the kids, kamikaze rolls n all, we go on daily walks with the dog, throwing sticks and all the not so nice stuff they leave for us. If you are a dog owner you will understand if your dog is like mine and is scared to poop on grass!! It all needs to come up . I have moved rubble, no gloves, scrubbed floors, clothes, mixed earth (topsoil etc) I have cooked, chopped, grated, typed LOTS had lots of baths, cut hair, changed nappies, washed my hands more times than I did in my Germ phobic stage, using a nail brush at every time, as us mums and gardeners know a lot gets stuck under those bad boys! They have been through all your normal day to day jobs that is totally took advantage of unless we don’t do it for a day…. So here’s my pics day 9 above going down to my second day when I began: -

Day 8

Perfect nails, we had a sports day, so half a day off work but double quick housework in the evening, and flash cooking, plus my garden before bed! Apart from that it seems I had a day off ;)

Day 7

Above is my bug squashing, rubble moving, housework, park, shopping and then everything else we do day to day, how do we fit it all in. That was my chilled Sunday, my day of rest! we truly must have super powers ;)

Saturday, my 'LAZY' day ;)

Day 6

I say lazy day, I did my super woman routine but with kids in toe. So that was fun, get them involved ‘they’ say, yes that works a few time, children are far from stupid, they catch on, its not a game, its child bloody labor and super market sweep is just damn right dangerous…I always win, but a few injuries have occurred ;)  I think I have a competitive streak!! And I won on the Xbox, against three lads may I add :) But it’s not the winning, it’s the taking part…again kids don’t buy it!!! I try not to win & I wouldn’t against my son, or I wouldn’t have a house left, but his friends, their fair game ;) So normal cooking, cleaning, dog walking and Xbox, button bashing isn’t helpful with keeping good nails! So I found out in the past! 

Day 5

With my lazy day ahead of me…eeeeek the excitement, to be honest it was a run of the mill day, three loads of washing, change the beds and your normal housework, plus two bungalows sprung clean, yet still after no gloves all those bleach products, I still have perfect nails!!! With what I had put them through already I truly thought I would have proved Sensationail was in fact not for real women, but women that don’t touch ANYTHING, or even get dressed, because we all know just pulling our jeans up or doing up a button CAN chip or at worse even break a nail!!

Day 4

Ok Day four, well I battered my hands, as you can see from cleverly cropped out bruises above, I dug holes in the ground with my bare hands, planting out my runner beans and broad beans. I did get one small chip but that was when I hit a stone in the mud, I mean who does their nails then goes gardening with no tools…that would be mwa, didn’t just do mine I mowed three lawns after that again no gloves so well and truly green fingered, after a two min top up..as new again!!! I was impressed to say the least

Day 3

At the bottom of my hand is a pot full of sunflowers, I put bird seed out and now they are coming up everywhere! So I dug them up with my nails as their roots are shallow when seedlings then I poked holes in the solid mud that had been in that pot for nearly two years to put the seedlings into, I also planted all my different tomatoes out after mixing and filling my half baskets with fresh mixed soil! I also went to a allotment I help to tend with a elderly couple, a bit of weeding and tidying up. Got back and strimmed the front lawn as the kids were getting lost it was so high!! but still NOT ONE CHIP!! Even after having to scrub so many times in between, door bells calls and kids etc.. I have to admit I am more than impressed and I know these would stay perfect longer if I left them, but come on 9 days…this gal needs a change!!!

Day 2

Now, the beginning, I didn’t take a picture of the first day, as I’ve said I am no professional nail artist I’m just a normal lass doing normal things and love being in the garden growing my own veg with the kids and with cleaning a lot also my skin and nails are not at their best, I wasn’t expecting to do this, it was never planned. I was just so pleased not only with the result but how well they kept, I did so much on day two, so much I’d be here listing all day and I was a little miffed I did my nails the day before I started taking pics because we all know what it’s like when we have a new product…..Got to try it now and when I got it, that afternoon/evening and they were as when I left, I really couldn’t believe it! I am on a tight budget, most of my work is volunteered so it was a lot of money for the lamp etc. but I truly believe if you invest you will save money in the long run, think how many times you paint in 2 weeks, longer if you’re not as heavy handed/clumsy as me!! MY VERDICT SENSTIONAIL IS SENSATIONAL Help choose my next test on my next tweet!! YES!!! New nails

One last look before I remove tonight, has to be said Sensationail killed my test  10/10 Here they are at the end of a long day 9......very long day.
